An irony that is a nation called India
- On the same day, you have headlines in newspaper saying that there is floods in one part of the state and water shortage in another part
- We have some of the best defense facilities but the areas around the same defense facilities do not have proper facilities for basic education
- A state with 40 deaths due to floods gets better response from the central government than a state with 183 deaths
- Reservations were opened for the upliftment of the poor but many of people who’ve secured seats under this quota are some of the richest in the society
- Some of the best doctors in the world are from India, but we lack in basic medical infrastructure in every single part of the country
- Farmers are killing themselves for the want of some support from the government, which in turn wants to erect hundreds and thousands of crores worth of statue
- It takes ages to prosecute a man who’s gone on a killing spree which was witnessed by the whole world and all the evidence required to prosecute him is available
- Indians complain of racism against them in other countries but would never hesitate to call another man a ’shudra’, ‘neecha’, schedule caste’ or ’schedule tribe’ and look down upon them
- A Cambridge educated politician still performs cheap tricks such as sleeping in the house of a dalit for publicity
